Evan & Aisha wedding
When you think of a fall wedding with beautiful colors of oranges and yellows - this one tops it . The colors of fall were on fire for this late October wedding and the weather was perfect. You could not of asked for a more perfect day to celebrate becoming Mr & Mrs.
I first met Aisha when I took her senior pictures in a field of sunflowers , and she had hinted that her and ‘ this guy ‘ had just started dating. Fast forward - and I get a message saying they are engaged ! :)
Evan & Aisha compliment each other so wonderfully. They are a mixture of silly & sweet sprinkled with love.
We started the day out with getting ready pictures at the brides parents, and it was a relaxing , laid back morning. The bride and her girls were able to enjoy the wedding morning while I captured details and the candid moments of her special day before wedding portraits began. As Aisha got into her beautiful gown, we spotted a mirror in the corner and on a whim decided to do a ‘reveal ‘ to herself - definitely worth the last minute idea ;)
The moment of a bride seeing herself for the first time in the dress she will say yes to her groom in - it brings tears to my eyes. Its those little, unplanned moments that are my ‘ why’s ‘ to being a photographer.
There was no first look for this wedding , but instead holding hands around the corner of the church talking and praying with one another before becoming husband & wife.
Mr & Mrs celebrated at their reception by having an ice cream bar- it was delicious by the way ! They served everyone who came through the ice cream line and that was their way of greeting everyone instead of a traditional receiving line. It was a very sweet idea ;)
