The Rainbow Project

I’m sure that you saw this title and are wondering what ‘ The Rainbow Project ‘ is . Last winter , I had an idea or vision come to mind that I really wanted to see through . It was going to require a lot of planning and thought to be brought to life - and I am still blown away by the outcome !

I pictured a beautiful summer evening in a meadow , with a special group of women dressed in all sorts of colors that were here to honor and remember sweet angel babies gone way too soon . God definitely blessed me with exactly what I had prayed for.

My vision ? 100% came to life on August 24th in a meadow in Quarryville, PA.

The women that joined us were from all walks of life and at different parts in their journey. Some losses were recent, some several years prior. A few had their rainbow baby miracle after suffering a loss and others are still praying to hold that sweet bundle in their arms someday .

I had envisioned lots and lots of colors for this event , in my editing and in “ real life “. Lancaster Flower Co so graciously donated their time in making a stunning flower vine of the prettiest summer flowers to drape on an arch behind the ladies.

Each lady received a white ballon to represent the number of babies they’ve had to say good-bye way too soon. It was a touching evening, full of emotions and I am still in aw at the courage and strength that each of these women have.
