Luke & Vivienne engagement

Luke & Vivienne’s Longwood Garden’s engagement session was simply adorable. They are both clearly IN LOVE and so giddy with excitement to be married! We started out with pictures by the fountains, the almost white backgrounds made perfect for a dreary winter day. You almost didn’t feel as if it was January :) The wonderful thing about Longwood Garden’s is the pristine details to the landscaping - and no matter what time of the year it is , the scenery is still beautiful.

We then moved onto a whimsical woodsy walking path for a different vibe and to get some ‘ green ‘ into their session. The walking path to and then along the Italian water gardens gave the perfect look for a romantic feel . Luke & Vivienne are SO in love and were a breath of fresh air to capture ! We laughed and had so much fun during their session, I think we could have went well past the 1 hour ;) It’s not everyday you get to capture such sweet and pure love, but when you do ; it is so special! When photographing a couple, I try to capture the essence of them . What makes the couple ‘ them ‘ ? Some are more serious, or funny, or have little teasing jokes - whatever it is that makes a couple ‘ them ‘ - part of what I believe in is capturing just that. The perfectly posed pictures are beautiful, but there is nothing like the candid moments of him tickling her or simply just admiring her beauty. Those pictures tell the true ‘ story’ to a couple.

Their June wedding is something I am looking forward to as they start a new chapter together and grow even more in love !
